The National Western Stock Show and the Junior Livestock Auction. Of the hundreds of junior market animals that compete at the National Western Stock Show each year, only 90 of the very best are eligible for the Auction of Junior Livestock Champions. The auction is the final marketplace for the first and second place steers, lambs, hogs and goats that were raised by junior exhibitors, 4-H and FFA youngsters ranging in age from 9 to 18. Mr. Buck Hutchison serves on the Executive Committee for the Board of Directors for the National Western and as Chairman of the Junior Livestock Auction. Hutchison Western was the proud buyer of a second place steer shown by Jed Sidwell of Gill, CO and a first place steer shown by Kyra Stierwalt of Leedey, OK. Both Jed and Kyra plan to use the proceeds from the auction of their prized steers towards their college education. Pictured with Jed Sidwell and with Kyra Stierwalt are Blake Hutchison and Heath Hutchison.

Hutchison Incorporated reports renewed interest in their Ornamental Fence product over the past 18 months. "Whether it is a return to tradition, family or a more simplified life style, we don't really know, but something definitely has sparked a renewed interest and thus increased sales in the HW Brand Ornamental Fence product", said Doug Jacks, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Hutchison Incorporated.
"To accommodate the demand we recently increased production. Ornamental Fence has been produced since the turn of the century and is used as property fence, garden fence and cemetery fence. The distinctive style is made of heavy galvanized wire to prevent the fence from sagging or otherwise losing its shape. The closely woven wires at the bottoms and the double loop make it a very rigid attractive product. This design also prevents climbing, and will not only protect your lawn or garden, but also provide a safe place for children and pets to play", continued Jacks.
HW Brand Ornamental Fence is made in both single loop and double loop in 36", 42" and 48" heights, or as a flower bed border in available heights of 16" and 22", all made with 9½ gauge to 13 gauge wire. The HW Brand Ornamental Fence comes in 100' rolls and can easily meet the requirements of most fencing projects.
Hutchison Incorporated manufactures and distributes farm and ranch fencing, hardware, and supplies, livestock equipment, building products, and lumber. For the location of a dealer near you call (800) 525-0121, visit the website at
