Installing Gates

Models 552 Panel, 652 Panel

1. Level hanging post and drill holes on level plane to ensure proper swing.
2. Screw lag bolt into post. One lag bolt should point up and the other lag bolt should point down.
3. Insert bottom hinge clamp over bottom lag bolt. Slide top adjustable hinge clamp over lag bolt and tighten.

Models CG650, CG550, HG633

Fixed Hinge:

1. Level hanging post and drill holes on level plane to ensure proper swing.
2. Fixed gate hinge and threaded bolt will rest on vertical top stop. Insert fixed hinge through post with washer and nut on each side of post. Adjust gate to level and tighten nuts.
3. Repeat same procedure on bottom fixed hinge and threaded bolt.

Adjustable Hinge:

1. Level hanging post and drill holes on level plane to ensure proper swing.
2. Insert threaded bolt through post with a washer and nut on each side of post.
3. Insert threaded bolt ends into adjustable hinge. Top threaded bolt must be pointed down, bottom threaded bolt pointed up.
4. Tighten adjustable hinge, adjust and tighten threaded bolt as noted in item 2.
5. Level gate to ensure proper swing.
