In 1952, George G. Hutchison founded Hutchison, Inc. in Manchester Iowa as a modest independent trucking, moving and storage business.
70 years later, Hutchison, Inc. has grown to be a major manufacturer, distributor and wholesaler of livestock and equine equipment , farm and ranch supplies, lumber and building products serving farm and ranch supply retailers, rural farm cooperatives, lumberyards, implement stores and hardware dealers throughout rural America.
George G. “Buck” Hutchison III, joined the company in 1963 and created the Western Division in Denver, Colorado serving as President and CEO. Since then, two sons have joined the company: Blake Hutchison as CEO and Heath Hutchison as President. Together, the three Hutchisons continue to operate the company with a philosophy of loyalty and service to their customers and suppliers, quality products, an independent spirit and the successful continuation of the family operation.
Hutchison Inc.’s five divisions are: Hutchison Western, Adams City, Colorado; Hutchison Lumber and Building Products, Manchester and Delaware, Iowa; HW Brand Manufacturing Company, Grinnell, Iowa; Hutchison Transportation, Adams City and Manchester; and Logan Valley Manufacturing, Pender, NE.

Regional Driver | Manchester IA
Hutchison Inc. is now hiring Regional CDL Class A drivers at our Manchester, IA location. Our OTR Truck Drivers enjoy considerable salary, benefits and the opportunity to drive new and well-maintained equipment. We pride ourselves in providing an established working environment and getting our drivers home on the weekends.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Responsibilities:
• Deliver products to company customers in western and mid-western states with an average of 2,500 plus miles per week.
• Maintain transportation records, monitor safety measures, and maintain low (CSA) BASIC scores.
• Ensure the safety of the load, loading and unloading of equipment, and properly securing, strapping and tarping of the load.
• Perform DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspection of tractor and flatbed trailer.
• Follow company and DOT standards and requirements for driving trucks requiring Class "A" CDL driver's license.
• Maintain new tractors and equipment with good communication with our truck shop maintenance teams at each location.
• Perform other essential load and dispatch duties as assigned.
